About Me.

In the field of forest sciences, my primary focus has been on precision forestry, specifically in the planning and monitoring of logging operations and assessing their impact. Additionally, I have dedicated significant efforts to estimating forest biomass following logging and extraction activities.

PhD
Università degli Studi di Padova

The Land, Environment, Resources, and Health (LERH) PhD Program at the University of Padua is a multidisciplinary doctorate focusing on natural resource management, sustainable agriculture, and environmental conservation. The focus of my research was the assessment of quantity and distribution of harvesting residues after clear-felling operations.

Visiting Researcher at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. Focus on Remote Sensing and Inventory of harvested material and biomass estimation using field measurements, UAV-based data, and satellite imagery.

Here I have also worked with Meresky Timber, SAPPI, and Mondi.

The Forest and Land Management curriculum in the Master's in Forest Science at the University of Padua focuses on sustainable forest resource management, conservation, and land protection. Key courses are Forest Operation and Planning, Forest and Ecosystems Management. 

Exchange Student at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). Focus on Proximal and Remote Sensing and Forest Inventory.
